About me
I’m Charlotte van den Berghen, a Registered Career Development Professional (RCDP), qualified Level 6 Careers Advisor, and founder of Brighter Careers Coaching. My mission is to empower young people to make informed, confident decisions about their education and future careers. Drawing on experience working with students across schools in London, as well as providing one-to-one coaching sessions at home, I offer impartial, student-centred guidance that keeps options open and helps each individual identify pathways suited to their strengths, interests, and aspirations. I also hold an Enhanced DBS certificate, ensuring a safe, professional, and trusted service.
NETWORKING
Building a strong network is one of the most valuable things students can do when starting their careers. Connecting with professionals, mentors, and peers can open doors to work experience, internships, and job opportunities, giving students a real insight into different industries.
Through networking, they gain support, guidance, and firsthand knowledge that helps them make informed career choices. As a Careers Advisor, I help students develop these connections by providing access to career events, industry contacts, and practical advice on securing work experience and internships.
