Preparing students to thrive in tomorrow’s world of work

Hello, I’m Charlotte. I’m a Level 6 qualified Careers Advisor with experience providing in-person and remote one-to-one guidance to students, typically seeing up to seven students per day in 40-minute sessions. I take a friendly, relaxed approach, exploring each student’s skills, qualities, and values to create a personalised action plan that reflects who they are and where they want to go.

Each session is supported with tailored resources to help students take confident next steps. My work aligns with the Gatsby Benchmarks and is enriched by a strong network of industry and education contacts.

I offer competitive rates for schools and would love to discuss how I can support your students – please get in touch.

What to Expect in a Careers Session

My personalised one-to-one careers sessions are designed to empower young people, helping them make informed and confident decisions about their education and career pathways.

What’s included in a one-to-one Careers Guidance Session

I use a variety of creative strategies to tailor each session to the individual student:

✔ Introduction – Warm welcome, session overview, and goal setting
✔ Exploring Interests & Strengths – Discussion of career ideas, skills, and subject choices
✔ Pathway Options – Guidance on A-Levels, BTECs, apprenticeships, university, and career routes
✔ Action Plan – Clear next steps, tailored resources, and goal setting
✔ Summary & Questions – Final recap, advice, and any follow-up actions

As a professionally qualified Level 6 Careers Advisor, I provide impartial, personalised guidance, drawing on up-to-date labour market insights. I prioritise ongoing professional development to ensure my advice remains current and relevant.

With extensive experience supporting students in independent, state-maintained, and grammar schools, I offer face-to-face and virtual sessions, always tailored to each student’s unique needs.

Bespoke Career Action Plans

Each one-to-one session is designed to identify strengths, set clear goals, and create a personalised, step-by-step action plan that provides a solid roadmap for each student’s education and career pathway.

The action plan ensures that students have practical, achievable next steps, helping them make informed decisions with confidence. They receive guidance and support at every stage, leaving them empowered, focused, and ready to take ownership of their future.

UNIFROG - HOW CAN IT HELP YOUR STUDENTS?

I have used Unifrog for many years and am highly confident in navigating the platform to support students during guidance sessions. I regularly use its features to explore career pathways, search for courses and apprenticeships, and assist students with personal statements and applications.

Unifrog is a comprehensive careers and destinations platform that helps students explore their future options, whether through university, apprenticeships, or direct employment.

It offers interactive tools such as personality quizzes, career matching, and searchable databases for courses, apprenticeships, and work experience. The platform also supports students in writing personal statements, CVs, and cover letters while allowing schools and career advisors to track progress and provide tailored guidance.

By enabling side-by-side comparisons of different pathways and offering structured resources, Unifrog empowers students to make confident, well-informed decisions about their future.

Psychometric Tests - Morrisby Profiling

As a Careers Advisor using Morrisby Profiling I can help to guide students through the aptitude, personality, and interest assessments to help them explore career options.

I incorporate this into Careers Coaching to support clients in exploring their strengths and career options.

Introducing the platform, support students in completing the tests, and interpret the results in one-to-one career sessions, I can help students understand their strengths, career matches, and suitable education pathways, offering tailored advice on subject choices, work experience, and next steps.

Morrisby provides career guidance and psychometric testing services to help individuals understand their strengths, interests, and career options.

Morrisby offers tools like:

Aptitude Tests – Measuring natural abilities in areas like verbal, numerical, and spatial reasoning.
Personality and Interest Assessments – Identifying work styles and career interests.
Careers and Course Matching – Providing recommendations for jobs, apprenticeships, and university courses.
Morrisby Profile – A comprehensive career guidance tool used by schools for student career planning.  Schools often use Morrisby as part of their careers program to help students make informed decisions about subject choices, further education, and career pathways.
